How do I get my files after paying?

Checkout is run by Stripe. As soon as you've paid, the confirmation page shows an Open your downloads link. That's the quickest way to get your files.

We also email a download link to the address you used at checkout, so you can come back to it later. The email comes from ExerciseClips <orders@exerciseclips.com> with the subject “Your ExerciseClips download”.

What's in the zip?

Your clips, in the format you chose at checkout: GIF only, MP4 only, or both if you picked “Both formats”. The licence says your pack includes the animation files, video files and metadata files for that pack.

In the free sample, which has both formats, the files sit in two folders, gifs/ and mp4s/. Each file is named by its exercise number. That number matches the web address of the exercise, so 0032 is the barbell deadlift at exerciseclips.com/exercise/0032-barbell-deadlift.

The sample also includes a README and a copy of the licence.

Can I download my files again?

Yes. Your download link keeps working for 12 months after you buy. If you've lost the email, write to us and we'll send the link again within that 12 months.

Please don't share your link with anyone. The licence doesn't allow it.

I paid but didn't get an email. What should I do?

First, if you're still on the page you saw after paying, click Open your downloads. Your files are there.

If you've closed that page:

  1. Check your spam, junk and promotions folders.
  2. Search your inbox for orders@exerciseclips.com or “Your ExerciseClips download”.
  3. Make sure you're checking the inbox you typed in at checkout. That's where the link goes.
  4. Check that the payment went through on your card or bank statement.
  5. Still nothing? Email admin@ilumpfx.com. Tell us the email you paid with, roughly when you paid and which pack you bought. Never send card details. We never see or store them.

We aim to resolve download and payment issues within one business day.

What the Standard Licence lets you do

This is a plain summary of the Standard Licence v1.3. The licence itself is what counts.

Who it covers

One person, or one organisation, such as a single company, gym, studio or practice.

You can use the clips:

  • in client programmes, workout plans, PDFs, printed handouts, slide decks and manuals
  • on websites, blogs, email newsletters and landing pages that you or your clients run
  • in social posts, videos, reels, thumbnails and paid ads
  • showing clips on screens, signage and equipment displays on your premises, such as a gym, studio, clinic or school
  • in internal training and staff materials

You can use them worldwide, for as long as you like, in as many projects as you like, for paid or personal work.

You can resize, crop, re-time, re-encode, recolour and annotate them, and mix them with your own material.

You can't:

  • Hand out the files. Don't sell, share, give away or publish any clip as a file, or as part of a pack, library, template or dataset. This applies even if you've edited it, and even if it's free. This is the most important rule.
  • Let others save the files. Playing a clip on your web page is fine. A download button is not.
  • Put them in apps, software or platforms that other people use or buy. That includes mobile, desktop and web apps, APIs, SaaS products, plug-ins, themes, template products and AI assistants. For that, you need the Extended Licence.
  • Use them for AI. No training, fine-tuning, testing or grounding AI models. No uploading them to AI tools or datasets, and no using them to generate new animations.
  • Resell them as stock. No stock sites, asset marketplaces, freelancing sites, print-on-demand, NFT platforms or app store asset libraries.
  • Make merchandise where the clip is the product, such as a poster, print, sticker pack or GIF pack.
  • Claim them as your own, register them as a trademark or logo, or claim copyright over them.
  • Use them unlawfully or misleadingly, or in a way that suggests the people shown endorse a product, person or organisation.

How long it lasts

For as long as you keep to the terms. If you break them, the licence ends straight away, and you must stop using the clips and delete your copies. Work you'd already published in good faith can stay up. That doesn't apply if you shared the files, let others extract them, or used them for AI.

Passing it on

The licence is personal to you. You can't transfer it, lend it or share your download link.

A note on safety

The clips are illustrations, not medical or training advice. You're responsible for making sure any programme you build with them is safe and suitable.

Which version applies to me?

The version that was in force on the day you bought.

Do I need to credit anyone?

No. You don't need to credit anyone when you use the clips.

Building an app or platform?

The Extended Licence covers one commercial product, like an app, web platform or SaaS tool, with unlimited end users. Your users can watch the clips but must not be able to download them. You need one licence per product. Read the Extended Licence.

Teams and agencies

Can my staff use the clips?

Yes. Your employees and contractors can use them while they're working for you. They can't keep the clips or use them for their own separate work.

I'm an agency or freelancer. Can I use the clips for clients?

Yes. You can use them in work you produce for your clients, including websites your clients run.

You can't hand the clip files themselves to your client. They get the finished work, not the files.

We have several gyms or brands.

One licence covers one organisation, including every location it owns or runs.

We're building an app for a client.

If you're building an app for a client, the client who owns the app buys the Extended Licence. A product owned by another organisation needs its own licence.

Refunds

Can I get a refund?

Purchases are final once a download link has been used.

Before paying, you agreed that we could start supplying the files immediately. You also agreed that this ends any right to cancel, including the 14-day withdrawal right that usually applies to online purchases in the EU and UK.

This doesn't affect any consumer rights that the law of your country says can't be waived.

What if my download failed or a file is broken?

Email us and we'll fix it.

What if you lose the right to sell the clips?

The animations are licensed to us by a third party. If that changes, we'll tell you promptly, and we may ask you to stop using the clips. In that case we'll refund what you paid in the previous 12 months.

Bought the same pack twice by mistake?

Email us with both order emails and we'll refund the duplicate in full.

Formats and sizes

What formats do I get?

You choose at checkout: GIF only, MP4 only, or “Both formats” to get every clip as an animated GIF and an MP4. GIF and MP4 show the same animation.

What size are the clips?

360 × 360 pixels, square. That's the largest size available in either format, so don't upscale them. They look best at 360 × 360 or smaller.

GIF or MP4?

MP4 files are smaller and play in a web <video> tag. GIFs work almost anywhere an image works, such as slides, documents and emails.

Can I edit them?

Yes. You can resize, crop, re-time, re-encode, recolour and annotate them.

Will there be a watermark?

The previews on our site are watermarked. The free sample is not.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes. The free sample has 12 real clips as GIF and MP4. You don't need to give an email address.

Which pack is right for me?

There are seven body-part packs that together cover every clip, and two equipment packs (Bodyweight Only and Dumbbell Only). The Full Library has all 1,323 clips. Clips can be in both a body-part pack and an equipment pack, so packs can overlap.
