Privacy Policy
Effective 23 August 2026 · Version 1.0
ExerciseClips is operated by Ilumax Media, a business registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you buy or browse ExerciseClips, why, and what rights you have over it — wherever in the world you are. It applies to exerciseclips.com and to the email and download links you receive after a purchase.
1. What we collect
- Purchase data. Your email address, and the packs you bought, collected by Stripe at checkout and passed to us to fulfil your order.
- Payment data. We never see or store your card details. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
- Delivery data. An entitlement record — a timestamp, which SKUs you bought, and a count of how many times your download page was opened — keyed to your Stripe checkout session so we can re-send your download link for up to 12 months.
- Browsing data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) kept briefly by our hosting and CDN providers for security and abuse prevention. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies for tracking.
2. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To process your payment and deliver your download — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To re-send a download link if you lose it, and to prevent abuse of the download system — our legitimate interest in running the service, and performing our contract with you.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting — a legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors to run the service. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending your purchase and download-link emails.
- Netlify — hosting the website and the fulfilment functions that mint your download link.
- Cloudflare — storing and serving the clip files you download.
We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell your personal data to third parties.
4. International transfers
We are based in Singapore, and our processors above operate globally, which means your data may be processed outside the country you live in — including outside the EU/UK and outside Singapore. Where that happens, we rely on our processors' own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EU/UK) for the transfer.
5. How long we keep it
Entitlement records are kept indefinitely, so that a purchase can still be verified, re-delivered, or revoked (for example after a refund) even after the 12-month re-download window has passed. Records we're legally required to keep for tax and accounting purposes are retained for as long as the law requires. Stripe retains payment records under its own retention policy.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your data:
- EU / UK (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing — which we don't do, since we don't sell or share personal data.
- Singapore (PDPA): access to and correction of your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is our basis for processing.
To exercise any of these, contact us at exerciseclips.com/contact.
7. Children
ExerciseClips is a B2B/professional digital-goods service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
